Camp Cartwheel is a heart felt healing gift to so many children and their families. Each year for two separate 4 day weekends in July, 150 children (no parents) and over 150 volunteers including a doctor for daily visits and 24 hour nursing staff help make over 300 children totally enjoy all the activities provided as they make life long friends.

 

 

This July makes 20 years of Camp Cartwheel life changing experiences. Thank you Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation for inviting Kimo Leads the Way. We are proud to be part of Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation family and continue donating plush Kimos and Kimo Leads the Way booklets of affirmations for the children and their families. Interesting fact, over the past 20 years 25% of former campers have become volunteers each year giving back their time, love, and experiences.
